Arthur E. Morrissette founded Interstate in 1943 with a used truck, a dolly and a vision of providing quality moving with "Top Hat Service." He recognized that the process of relocating families involved much more than just moving furniture. An individual's household possessions represented their lives, both past and present, and needed to be treated with utmost care and respect.
Nearly seven decades later, Interstate has evolved into an $80 million family of five companies that continues to grow under the 3rd generation leadership of the Morrissette family. The company continues to operate under the belief that quality, innovation, and training are key to a successful moving company.
